The paper has changed

I used to buy these pads on campus and they were incredible, the paper did not feather or bleed and had a lovely feel to it. They stopped selling them on campus however, and so I bought a few online. I immediately noticed the cover had changed, but thought nothing more of it until I began writing in them.

The paper is different to the old notebooks. I notice much more feathering and it feels different, perhaps slightly less glossy. The margin and Scribzee markers look as if the paper has come out of a photocopier (not that that makes a difference to the writing experience, it was just something I noticed that differed from the old paper).

Still good notebooks that I use frequently but something has changed about the paper that unfortunately seems to have resulted in a lesser quality compared to what was previously available.

Beautiful paper

I am a fountain pen user, and have used Oxford pads for many years. They are a perfect combination. The paper does not yellow with age, so my old notes are as legible now as when they were first written.
If I am permitted one small grumble, I would like to have the option to buy without the Scribzee feature, as I never use it, and it occupies spaces in which I wish to write.
